Cook Mercantile Co.

The Cook Mercantile Company, depicted in this 1913 photograph, was a general store providing all the necessary supplies to make life a little easier for people living in town or out on the homesteads in the country. From buying groceries, or cloth for sewing, to tools, hardware, fencing and countless other items, as well as catching up on news and gossip made a trip to the Cook Mercantile Company a favorite occasion for people living in early 20th century northern Minnesota.
