Tower weekly news, Vol 23, No 10 – July 21, 1922 Pioneer Resident Dies SuddenlyMrs. Elizabeth Sullivan, age 83, for 30 years a resident of this section, died Saturday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dan Lawler, at Semer, where she had made her home of late. Deceased was ill only two days when death entered and her sudden taking away came quite unexpectedly as her condition was not considered serious by those attending her. Old age is given as the cause of her death. Deceased was the mother of a large family of children, these including Mrs. Jos. Stackmesser of this city, Mrs. Dan Lawler of Semer, Wm. Sullivan, Margaret Walsh, A. J. Sullivan, Mrs. Jos. Kaiser, and Mrs. F. F. Gorman, of Hibbing Mrs. Duncan Campbell of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and James Sullivan of Tower. All of these, with the exception of Mesdames Campbell and Gorman, were here to attend the funeral which was held Tuesday morning from St. Martin’s Catholic church, with interment in Lakeview cemetery. |
