Wm. Christopher Dead.

Wm. Christopher who for the past several years has been a resident of this city died Sunday July 1st at the home of his daughter Mrs. Jas. Tippett, aged 74 years. He was taken sick only a week ago and although everything possible was done for him his death has been looked for almost every day since that time as he seemed to give way entirely right from the first.

Deceased came to this country nearly thirty years ago from Cornwall, England, settling first in Pennsylvania and later in Ishpeming, Mich., from which place he came here. He leaves a sister and two sons in Mich., who have been informed of his death and will probably arrive here this evening.

The funeral services will be held at the Presbyterian church tomorrow afternoon.
